Certifications and Ongoing Training

All caregivers hold current First Aid and Blood-Borne Pathogen certifications, ensuring they are prepared to respond to medical needs quickly and safely. To maintain high standards of care, each caregiver also completes a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education (CE) annually. This ongoing training keeps our team up-to-date with the latest best practices in elder care.

Health and Safety Clearances

Resident safety is our highest priority. To ensure a safe environment, all staff must:

  • Pass extensive background checks
  • Complete a history and physical examination annually
  • Maintain TB clearance each year

These requirements protect residents and reinforce our commitment to maintaining the highest level of care.

Range of Expertise

Our care staff includes a team of professionals with diverse skills and experience, including:

  • Caregivers – Assisting with daily activities, supporting independence, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. Caregivers also monitor health and provide companionship, playing a vital role in residents’ day-to-day lives.

  • Skilled Nursing Staff – Nurses, including Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP-BC), provide advanced medical oversight, bridging personal care with professional healthcare expertise.

This blend of caregiving and advanced nursing ensures residents receive well-rounded, holistic support.

What sets our staff apart is not just their qualifications, but their dedication. At AARC, we foster a culture of compassion, respect, and dignity. Each caregiver and nurse is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents and their families.
